The Department of technological equipment and machine engeneering

The training of mechanical engineers has been conducted since 1964. The first release was carried out in 1968. Initially, in 1964 in the Semipalatinsk branch of the Dzhambul Technological Institute of Light and Food Industry, the department "Processes and Apparatus for Food Production" was created. The graduation of mechanical engineers was carried out in this department. The department received its current name "Technological equipment and mechanical engineering" in 2019 due to the merger of 2 departments: the department "Machines and apparatus for food production" and the department "Technology of mechanical engineering and mechanics"

The department trains specialists in the educational program: bachelor's degree: 6B07105 - "Technological machines and equipment", 6B07106 - "Mechanical engineering", 6B11301 - "Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport", 6B11303 - "Logistics and organization of transportation"; master's degree: 7M07103 – “Technological machines and equipment”, 7M07104 – “Mechanical engineering”; PhD – doctoral studies: 6D07103 – “Technological machines and equipment”.

Publish 1 textbook, 1 monograph, 10 articles in scientific journals and in the proceedings of international conferences, including in scientific journals with a non-zero impact factor - at least 1 article.

Training of students under the academic mobility program in universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad - 1 student.

Participation of the department's teaching staff in competitions for the award of research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
